Is it worth the price?

Well here we are... Placement number 2 came sunday afternoon, This placement is a 6 month baby girl. And she is near perfection. She had a rough starting period but day 2 was great with her. She has an olive complexion and big blue eyes. THis placement is full of risks, It is one of those placements that could likely be very long term and then end in reunitification with the birth mom. But as it always is with DHS it could end this afternoon. SO there is the problem. How attached do you get to a baby who could leave any minute or possibly be your forever baby. Well our plan is to get as attached as possible. :) This one has already stole my heart and im pretty sure the hearts of my other peeps.

In my own weakness, I keep asking the question( and i know many of our friends and family ask the same question)...IS it worth the price?? IS it worth having my heart ripped out?? But I wish I knew the outcome...  Then my God says... Isnt that the nature of love?you give all you have but you never really know how or when this will end. Do you think any of these people are really yours?? You are not in control of how love ends. SOoo...Of course it worth the price. Baby girl is safe and loved for today and how ever long we have her...that is the job we signed on for. 

Pray i remember this. Pray for my steadfastness during this time of uncertainty. Pray that everyone settles in. Pray our kids hearts don't get broken through this proccess. pray for baby girl!!! Pray for baby girls mom. She has a long road ahead of her.
