Well I was thinking that has been a while since I posted. It is mostly because I have felt guilty about not being able to include shots and info about the 2 newest bugs. But I really wish I would have been keeping this journal going the last 7 months because it has been such a whirlwind. So I am going to try to chart our life better on here. The school year starts for us on monday and I am going to try to include some day in the life stuff. Just so that years from now I can remember what this was like.

This summer we have been busy. The 2 biggest bugs have gone to museum camp, Boys and girls club (most days) boys scout day camp, church camp. My goal for them both this summer was to gain some confidence and independence seperate from me! They both did great! Nana bug cried everyday at the club for a few weeks but she got used to it and had a great time. She also read the most books in her group at reading club and won the BIG prize! She was so proud of herself. Stink Bug made new friends and learned the value of peoples names. He had been content to give people nick names!

We particpated in a kids fishing day! We caught a bunch of catfish and had a good day. Some friends cleaned them for us and we fried them up! Our teeny guy kept trying to jump in the pond but we managed to keep him from swimming! Our family visited Silver Dollar City for the day (minus our tiny guy) We had a blast!

We also went to the Aquarium in tulsa for our anniversary. We had fun once we go there but it took us rougly 6 hours to get ready and get there. ( this would take your average family 2.5 hours, but then again we are NOT your average family)

Its funny my last post was the day our teeny tiny came. So much has changed since then. We are still fostering and on our way to adopting them. We have about a month and a half until we are suppossed to finalize on the adoption. We are up to our ears in paperwork. We have new names picked and I am checking books out from the library to prepare the kiddos. Unfortunately most of the books on adoption are written for Asian infant girls. This wont really hit home with my white toddler son! :) This has a been a fairly short journey as far as adoption goes and for that i feel blessed. I am certain that God sent these 2 just for us! And I am anticipating the day its legal!
