The School year started here Monday! THe first day of fourth grade Stink Bug is in his bed doing math drills. Nana Bug is at the table sticking numbers all over the kitchen wall and baby bug is splashing in water on the kitchen floor. Not at a l like their friends down the street do school but it works for us! Well it mostly works for us. This first week has been crazy stressful so far. Stink bug would rather never do anything education related and lets me know how uninterested he is with every stroke of the pencil or tap of the keyboard. Nana bug blasts her school out and is done before I know it. Baby Bug feels like school time is act like a loon time. and he gets into everything.
The little blonde girl must know that we have things to do at home because everyday so far she has dug her heels in and made getting out the door near impossible and completely miserable. Im talking screaming at the top of her lungs and having to be carried to the car half dressed. This is so exhausting and embarrassing to take her to school like this. I just continue to pray that she will find peace and be able to regulate herself. Yesterday we had a appointment for her that will hopefully be helping us to get her regulated soon. I was telling the Dr. at her appointment that she is destroying our house. Little girl says "Am i like a tornado??" Why yes you are sweet girl .. yes you are! It seems like the closer we get to the big A day. The crazier it gets around here. Even though we are in a very crazy season I still feel that we are on the path that God has chosen, but I am one frazzled mom!
On a little bit of a less whiney note- It is cooling off here. we were able to go on bikeride/walks the last 2 nights!! We really love our family bike riding time! I pull the 2 little boys in my trailer and everyone else rides. A women was standing on the curb and she just stood there and watched us. When i rode by her she hollered " my you have your hands full". I really have been trying to come up a clever come back for this statement. I should start charging people to say it to us because I hear it numerous times a day! The crazy thing is that they have no idea how full my hands really are.
